THE FIRE,SNOW AND THE FOOL
Part I I remember when the fire first smoldered, before the flames,fumes arose. Earthy and vaguely heady in the late dying summer. Its warmth so pacifying like the calm before storm. The fool offered her soul to fire, the diablo.. It rendered her warmth albeit guzzling her soul in return. And from the darkest ashes, an inferno tangoed uninhibitedly. Fire burnt her lips and river flowed down her cheeks. Conflicted contradictions ensued, currents soon breaking her shackles. Off she went went with the course to only look back at the fated fire now. Part II She yearned, cursed and cried prayed and believed. Losing all in the bargain except the conflagration to keep believing. Sometimes seen in kindness and smile of strangers, laughter of a child, spark in the eyes of inseparable lovers and strangest comfort in knowing of the future unknown.
